I don't mind the idea of Commonwealth ownership of such things - I think it's a great idea
Its about time, to return our country back to when electricity was affordable to both industry and the general public.
Wasn’t electricity price one of the components that caused an increase on cost of living?
Also, it was also one of the reasons why manufacturing started heading overseas!
So much for the delusion of private industry competitiveness….the competition is more about who can push the prices up and get away with it!
The only flaw that I can see with Dut plan is that the price of electric will not fall to a level below Howard’s era….adjusted for inflation.
His action resulted in Labor State’s government getting a taste for greater revenue and not providing a necessity as a service to benefit the community!
