Sky News Australia hostLaura Jayes has grilled Assistant Trade Minister Tim Ayres over the AlbaneseLabor government’s ongoing push for renewables and the cost it’s having onenergy bills.

Mr Ayres slammed Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s proposal to addnuclear energy into the mix.
“It’s pretty telling, Tim, isn’t it, that this morning we’re trying totalk about your energy plan but all you want to do is talk about his (Dutton)?”Ms Jayes said.
“The transition hasn’t been that great so far, wouldn’t you admit? Imean, it’s more expensive and less reliable. Someone stuffed up along the way.”
