One thing that didn’t add up for me is when he was spruking being hard working and self made he said he bought his first house at 19 years of age after working part time at a butchers before he left for uni.

How is that even possible?? I know houses were cheap in 1990 but interested rates were also at record highs of 17%.

no bank would loan a uni student (when he no longer had the butcher work) at 17%?? I’d say he had a big helping hand from parents..
