One thing that has yet to be raised (unless I have missed it), is that the free market LNP nutters cannot tell us why Nuclear would not be commercially viable, i.e.. why the tax payer has to fund it?

Meanwhile, the vast majority of renewables ARE funded by private enterprise eg huge wind and solar farms, batteries etc . Banks and Financiers are willing to risk hundreds of millions on this - but not nuclear.

Can someone enlighten me ?
