Doesnt any change to the constitution need to be done via referendum?
So the only way to add in constitutional recognition of ATSI people is via referendum correct?
Surely you can see that he is ok with the preamble but donest want the voice enshrined into the constitution - and the only way to do that is another costly referendum?
I dont like dutton at all, he is a moron, but if he agrees with recognition but not a legislated voice, isnt another referendum the only way?
Personally I dont like the lack of accountability the voice would have if it was enshrined to exist forever, whether it was useful or become rotten to the core. A legislated body with the potential of being wound up if they take the piss makes more sense IMO
