Canberra is full of low hanging fruit who consider themselves to be elites. If they had to apply for similar jobs in the real commercial word, they would not qualify. The Senate has people who have no background in economics or business. The country is run by the same sort of professional bureaucrat. This is why it is in endless debt, inefficent, bloated, out of touch, slow and costly. No one has skin in the game. Its a place where you can cruise and get paid more than you would in the commercial word. This is why it attracts the wrong sort of people that do not have the skills. I am sure some of them work hard and try their best. Its just a pity the political machine drags them and the country down with them. Canberra, the state govts, councils need to be pulled back into line. We could function perfectly well with less costs and better jobs without this level of govt. Its a burden on everyone, and its a big burden on the next generation.

You keep blaming lack of interest in nuclear on everything except the fact that its a shit afterthought policy...the lnp had years to think up nuclear and came up with it about a week after they lost the election...with no details...maybe they can make barnaby special envoy for nuclear now his special envoy for drought has finished....he might even fire off 3 texts to dutton to keep him up to speed
