Telemachus, to ban someone because they have a different opinion would be wrong.
Difference of opinion is not the issue here nor will it ever be.
The problem here is that there is an underlying personal agenda in play, which you, nor I or most other posters are privy to, therefore, the moderator has a duty of care to all to ensure that the information posted benifit/informs all as against being offered a laced/tainted carrot.
Val's methodology reminds me that of PM Julia Gillard recent comments:- I had no knowledge of what was about to happen to PM K. Rudd until that the day before he was ousted and that's when I put my hat in the ring.
I don't believe for one minute that her hands are not dirty as hell right up to her armpits and so are Val's hands in usurping anyone connected with EIO management team.
Hot Copper prides itself in allowing the sharing of valued unbaised information for all, but surly when personal agendas become clearly obvious then it is their duty to shut it down.
