Core's nearby BP33 deposit is currently being developed into an underground mine. It has a 10.5Mt resource @1.5% Li.
The boxcut and civil works contracts have been awarded but no news on the underground mining contract (as of Sept qtrly). Maybe DVP wins that contract and gets a team up in the NT to be a future JV partner with ASX:LPM. It seems like the geology could suit underground mining and be perfect for the DVP team. I don't see DVP swooping up all of LPM because it is really tightly held with 80% of SOI owned by the top 20 holders. Also CATL one of the world's largest battery makers owns circa 10% which could help fast track development. I wonder what DVP's ownership stake of LPM will be.
