I am not in to conspiracy theories, but one has to wonder if someone is trying to make Bill eat his own words when he ridiculed BDO for valuing the combined companies at $1.73 per share. Bill asked at the time: “Please tell me where I can buy Develop shares at $1.73?”. Maybe he will get the answer soon.
However, as I said, I'm not into conspiracy theories and am still long and strong but deeply underwater on recent purchases. My main fear is not Bill's capability to get things done, just that he and many others may have badly miscalculated future commodity prices. It doesn't matter how good a mining executive you are, if prices remain in the gutter.
