You make a fair point...but?
IMO the bargain price was more likely an indication of the perception that MIN was a highly motivated seller, more than the worth or lack of associated to DVP.
It seems apparent that MIN was at least perceived to need to tidy up the balance sheet.
It would also seem obvious that liquidation of non core Li holdings(even at minor loss) would be more pragmatic than selling off half of your newly minted haul road cash cow.
