The question is how you adapt your plan when you get punched in the mouth. In the game of investing keeping 1/3-1/4 of the portfolio in cash has worked for me the last 20+ years. That way If I get punched in the mouth or as I said earlier this year "a 50% retracement" all I have to do is Buy. Post #: 73060665
In DVP's case we have had 2 50%+ retracements:
- Nov 2021 - July 2022
- Jan 2023 - today
