As a HRR and DVP shareholder that fact is actually bittersweet.

Cost of doing business when you invest in these early stage miners. Hopefully DVP becomes an NST, EVN, SINO Gold, Lihir, SFR, OZL etc for me a decade or so from now. Apart from GMD which is not really early stage on a technicality, it has been a bit of a drought on early stage miners front in this decade. Which is a far cry from the success I enjoyed in the Noughties and Teenies.

Well before my time but this decade feels a lot like the the 80's and 90's ASX mining wise. Plenty of small zombie mining companies barely profitable (just look at the Lithium and Nickel lanscape) and we see a few folding like NML, PAN etc. All the while commodity prices in general are high in historical terms. All we need now are characters similar to Alan Bond, Diamond Joe G. etc bankrolling new mines and it will be Australian 80s/90s mining all over again... Only difference would be mining tech and JORC & NI 43-101 resource estimation have come leaps and bounds since then.
