Thanks for the extra background info on Lake George. Very interesting.
I am wondering if the 'hose holders' are actually across the fence at Veolia's Eco Precinct [i.e rubbish tip] next door. They are working away steadily filling up the old open pit with Sydney's food scraps, composted. They would have a very large compost heap on their site.
