Direct to Consumer (DTC) Ambassador

Golding Wines is a progressive and dynamic family-owned winery situated at Lobethal, high in the picturesque Adelaide Hills of South Australia, hosting numerous weddings and prestigious corporate and private events throughout the year, together with casual lunch dining and tourism experiences.

This dynamic sales and customer service-driven role will encompass coordination of our Wine Club and working within the Tasting Room. You will primarily be responsible for driving sales & member growth in the Tasting Room. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Wine Brand Relationships Manager, this position is ideal for those looking for their next challenge.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Manage Direct to Consumer (DTC) and WBC Member sales.

• Database management
• Manage and drive incentives for Wine Club sign-ups at the Cellar Door
• Maximize Wine Club sales by creating sales opportunities and tailoring communication to members.
• Manage, grow and promote the Wine Club
• Assist with backend management of WBC Members (abacus, CRU etc)
• Coordinate website orders, sales and customer fulfilment
• Pack orders where required
• Manage freight & logistics through Winedepot
• Develop CRM mail order strategy with the Wine Brand Relationships Manager
• Provide leadership, training, motivation, direction and support for Ginkgo, Tasting Room & kitchen staff concerning DTC sales, policies & procedures
• Facilitate wine flights, group tastings & experiences
• Assist with Trade Shows and consumer events
• Actively develop additional sales opportunities in conjunction with other departments as appropriate.
• Assist Director with Social Media campaigns to grow visitation and drive sales across departments

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of the Adelaide Hills region and its offerings to visitors;
• Experience with Wine Clubs & Direct to Consumer sales
• Knowledge of Australian fine wine varietals and styles;
• Cellar Door / Hospitality experience
• Must have an RSA
