its true history indicates that alcohol and tobacco sales increase during tough times but the problem facing many companies these days are upward cost pressures and staffing issues. dw8 being one of many. i for one would consume less alcohol if it kept going up in price but thats just me. does dw8 have a cost advantage is the question? like is it cheaper to go to a major retailer and just buy it physically in store. if the answer is yes then tough times ahead for dw8 and being that they have gone from an under 10m mc to 60m+, its hard to see the value here.

my bet is that the market still underestimates how long this will take for some semblance of normality to return to markets. until then its a sell the rallies mentality but like you said, so much uncertainty.
