For me the elephant in the room is DTs exit.
Did the board push him or did he jump? I think he was pushed.
what basis did the board use? What was DT doing or not doing in relation to the health of the business.
the best case scenario is that DT was an absolute muppet. This will mean that a lot of improvement could be easily made.
so far the new guy has found 5.7m in a matter of weeks. Hopefully the business was a complete mess and the improvements come thick and fast.
I personally like how they have also repurposed the different warehouses. It shows an understanding of the network bottlenecks and a logical solution to improve outcomes.
I cant fault the new guy, this first announcement was about as good as we can ask. Lets hope theres more coming over the next few weeks
