As someone who has used Redbubble to sell products before I can assure you it is much worse. The price you see for T shirts and other designed items is the Redbubble price + the margin set by the Artist (20% standard). So the average margin going to the artist for all their listed items is 20%!
Pretty insane when most of their T-shirts are $20-30, meaning that designers are only making $4-$6 per sale. But on top of that, there is so much competition within their own site between artists that those selling at the lower range are only getting 10% margin. Not sure why anyone want's to make $2 per t-shirt sale..
