has anyone had much experience previous with shares that also have options?
DW8O were originally handed out to people who contributed in the SPP, and spent a long while at quite a low price, giving people ample opportunity to grab more. with the recent surge in the heads price and the lack of options available for sale, it seems likely that quite a few people have options that are now well in the money for conversion, and sitting on a nice profit for outright sale. DW8 also has an extremely positive outlook for future growth in the SP. in past experiences, do people in these circumstances tend to convert the options early, keep them for a long term hold (possibly as leverage), or sell the options for profit?
I'm guessing most new investors wouldn't understand options, so they probably sold up early when there was a small profit to be made. old hands are probably more likely to hold options long term for conversion. but what about the others? are we likely to see more options become available for sale as the SP climbs, or even early conversions providing more cash for the company?
