Ebay & Amazon liquor sales mentioned on pages 78 & 79.

Ebay had 8,860 listings for wine in January, 2021. Top selling items for November & December 2020 were discounted mixed cases. Volume of discounted mixed cases sales tripled from March to June quarters in 2020 & increased further to 1,570 cases per week. Sales price was typically $60-90 per case with some as high as $180 per case. Some of the largest sellers are Wolf Blass & Yellowtail. The top 5 sellers in order on Ebay are Just Wine, Coffee & Wine Co, Vinomofo, BoozeBud & Dan Murphy's.

Amazon had 3,000 listings for wine in January, 2021. No sales figures but mentions that the platform is not as user friendly as Ebay's. Ebay allows search by red, white etc & also has food pairing recommendations.

In summary, mentions that marketplaces provide an outlet for discounted mixed cases & also provide consumers with niche & specialized products normally found only at cellar doors.
