Thanks for the heads up re latest vintage and you are spot on re the lighter style. I'm from SA and grew up on high octane fruit bomb Shiraz from the much warmer Barossa. However now that ive clocked up a few extra miles I've tended to favour the lighter more delicate wines from some of the cooler climates around this great country of ours. Was lucky enough to do a 6 week wine sojourn through a number of Italian wine regions in 2019 and am now an avid drinker/collector of their fascinating wines.
Let's hope our DW8 journey is just as enjoyable.
