Yes today was a good recovery from a torrid last few weeks but i think its important to look at the reasons why. Tech stocks have largely enjoyed a stellar Friday which is somewhat surprising given the gathering inflationary dark clouds on the horizon. I suspect that today's 17% gain was partially due to the perception of this stock being oversold with investors looking for a 'cheap' entry point with a touch of FOMO thrown in for good measure however i'm far from certain that this gain will hold. For long term holders i guess all this is irrelevant but for those looking to make a quick buck out of the SP volatility i wish you luck as i'm sure you are going to need a fair serving of it moving forward.
