    Yes and he also mentioned that "there's a whole host of other online sales channels in the pipeline" for DIRECT (IE Vivino, Ebay and Amazon integration, whilst being some the majors, is just the beginning).

    It's another piece of the compounding nature of project's development. We can consider:

    • Ongoing supplier signups.
    • Ongoing integration developments for DIRECT.

    Ostensibly both have a ceiling, in the sense that there is only so much market we can/will capture supplier wise, and there are only so many platforms that can be integrated. However this isn't really the case, as new suppliers will enter the market, and new platforms will enter the market (worth considering for the long-view over next several years). Once the growth in signups slows down by virture of less market left to capture, we can repeat the model overseas.

    Of course, not all producers suceed, but platforms like WD actually give novel suppliers a better chance of succeeding financially. # of Aus wineries has increased by circa 1k since the year 2000, and has averaged about 2500 total the last few years. Peak year was 2013 @ 2573 producers. Current producer number is 2268 (source: https://winetitles.com.au/statistics-2/wine-companies/number-of-australian-wine-producers-by-state)

    So technically @ a supplier figure of circa 600 we actually get an even nicer bump from circa 15% to circa 26.5% of market based on current figures.

    This is leaving aside ex-wine products. Don't forget we now have keg functionality via Parton which is a big deal for 'Market.' Worth putting that in bold as I haven't seen discussed much yet and it is a game changer really.

    It is exciting to note the compounding effect of these ongoing signups/integrations. The more appealing the platform is, the more suppliers we attract in a sticky fashion. The more suppliers we attract, the higher number of products are likely to make it to Market (and Market is our main earner long term). The more products on Market, the more indispensible that platform becomes to trade buyers. The more trader buyers use the platform, the more our disruption strategy starts to show its teeth.

    Throw in a major supplier deal and you have quite a (r)evolution on your hands, both for the industry and for DW8's books.
