However, in China they are mandating a change to gas( a lot from Oz) to reduce the poor quality local coal and thus reduce pollution. EV cars that use coal generated electricity are not green vehicles. Technology takes time eg efficient batteries. Many people see transition in our energy use over a considerable time frame. CVN will be one company assisting this transition. The transition time may also depend upon the cost to hydrogen vehicles, electric vehicles using solar, etc. Many car buyers look at the distance EV can go, charging stations available and the cost of the vehicle. Not everyone can afford the current EV vehicles. The price will come down, but it will be some time till they are available at a cost the average bunny can afford.
