I would have thought the answer to your question was obvious! You don't have to like something to have a view - either positive or negative - on it.

It's the same thing as people writing letters to the editor when they 'don't like' something written by a journalist.

And besides, those who subscribe to charting - or anything - should welcome contrary views to continually test their own positions.

Without listening to contrary views you are likely to go through life never venturing from the deluded safety of your chosen echo chamber. In other words, you never grow wiser.
