When u see these heavy numbers on the buy side, you’d tend to think “wow! that demand side looks very strong”, and expect the price to rise.
My experience is that those bids often get taken out. Institutions trade with multiple accounts and, imo, are able to drive the share price down (selling, in effect to themselves) without relinquishing any shares. They flood the buy side to make it harder for anyone else to buy, unless you hit the sell side, at which point the bots will immediately drive the price lower.
So my strategy, generally is to be patient, allow those big bids to be taken out then come in strong, buying a parcel, making sure I have more ammunition if prices are driven down further. May or may not happen, but certainly helps me to buy low and sell higher when I get the chance.
I have a decent-sized core holding that will benefit when (not if) new licence agreements are announced.
