Aspirin is not safe, not benign. It has dangers and needs its safety warnings if taken as a regular medication. Is damaging to the kidneys notably. Must be the quite low dose and usually in conjunction with cardiology or heart assessment, and with the warnings given, & more taken by men than women due to additional risks. Though had been perceived as reducing cancer risk (?) , it comes now with warning that overall lifetime risks maybe greater compared to any possible decreased (eg. breast ) cancer risk. I t is not recommended I don’t think now. Ibuprofen although also with renal risks is more perceived as having some attributable breast cancer risk reduction.
