How much of the current share price action is happening because there is a genuine build up to results and how much is because there are vested interests who don't want their options to expire worthless?
If we don't know when in July the results will come out then a build up in price shouldn't happen until at least the 1st.
I've noticed some volumes which don't really stack up. For example, today a small trade of $100 has been placed at 1 cent to get the price over the line. The other day when we saw so much volume it was several orders with round numbers, one after another.
Recently there have been small orders - one was $1 at 1 cent to get the share price over the line again.
On the other hand, the company just washed a huge amount of shares from a CR.
Market manipulation by those with options outstanding or genuine activity?
