Been predicting it for several years, now a growing body of evidence supporting the unfolding reality:

AM Statistics: China’s PrNd oxide producers’ outputs up by 41.03% YOY in 2016[03-09]

AM Statistic: Chinese dysprosium oxide producers’ average operating rate in February declines to 24.8%[03-08

"Some market players, nonetheless, appear to be anxious about the dysprosium outlook due to its relatively large outputs within domestic market and the reduction in downstream consumption as consumers have been trying to decrease their dysprosium consumption to save on production costs.

Contrast with the steady dysprosium market, prices for many other magnetic rare earth elements, such as praseodymium/neodymium, terbium and gadolinium have seen rises again in the past few days."

All over the Chinese media now, not just coming from the mag makers, how long are the ROW spruikers going to maintain the fantasy?

Appears CY has already thrown in the towel.
