There are some posters I read on this forum who have strong opinions but lack logic, or facts or who seem overcome with bitterness and continually regurgitate the past. That was then. This is now. Accept the reality.

KK is an exception and provides a supported, but negative, alternative opinion. Others could learn from her. Sorry K. This is clearly not an endorsement, just a comparison with other less impressive thinkers. One of us will be buying the drinks when it all pans out. I hope it is me.

I have two posters on ignore who seem devoid of logic, facts, supported opinion, or discussion without any critical thinking and particularly lacking articulate argument. Hence I cannot make a constructive comment on their views which are sometimes referred to by other posters.

I find it extraordinary and puerile in the extreme to see discussion on recording, videoing or posting todays MAE meeting on YouTube. Why you would think that recording or videoing a meeting would make the slightest difference to the future share price I just do not know. If you are a share holder, be at the meeting. (I attend all important interstate portfolio meetings because I want to engage with the directors who are managing my money. No guarantee, but less likely to get burnt if you have never met them. )

I get the same ASX info as anyone else but I am able to make more informed opinions regarding risk and return. If you cannot attend meetings then read ASX announcements. That is what they are for. If you cannot do either call the company and get the facts yourself. DYOR. If you cannot do any of these, keep your uninformed views to yourself.

    Get real.

Those with mega million holdings are (IMO) neither naive, stupid nor party to uninformed research. Having met many of these sophisticated MAE investors I can advise that MAE is just another equity in their portfolio. They appear to me to have been very successful investors (or risk takers) in the past and all claim to be extremely confident in the future of MAE. They are increasing their holding, as am I. They are keen to partake in any future capital raising that benefits existing shareholders and not financiers, as am I. Guess why resolutions one and two were rejected.

MAE is heading for 5 mcft/d from few miserable wells. Count the rest of CC wells. Look at the Helper wells and do your own sums. Why was the last RR less than the previous one? Well JC is no longer responsible. Whatever JS is recommending, it is working.

It looks to me like Collery was forced to accept finance of absolute last resort to salvage the company. Fortunately for Share Holders he succeeded when many had written MAE off. As you would expect he was screwed. Guess what, he has proved they can get gas and now the lenders are bit more interested. If he can refinance the short term without destroying the SP, as is happening now, well done Pete. If he can do this benefiting current SH and not vulture financiers, so much the better.
