503 hair samples were specifically collected for breast cancer detection:
•All positive samples were correctly identified.The hair samples taken from women with breast cancer had the “ring”in the X-ray diffraction pattern
•Some false positives were identified but several of these individuals were later diagnosed with breast cancer and therefore not false

The results of 503 hair samples studied for the detection of breast cancer.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to the International Journal of Cancer and cannot verify - but surely such a reference cannot be made up?
