I often wonder why people with no stock held waste so much time...

I often wonder why people with no stock held waste so much time on a thread denigrating the stock. Is there some sort of sick enjoyment from other people’s misfortunes or are there other reasons?

Without wanting to single anyone out this poster put up these comments on the OEL thread recently:

“I want to short OEL. Does anyone know any broker that can assist?”

“With the oil price heading towards $20, why would anyone invest in an oil company.”

And many more negative threads about the future of OEL and the oil sector.

Yet on the OILGAS thread the poster seems optimistic about the oil sector and is actively seeking investment opportunities:

“Who would have thought that oil could fall this low back in July?

Anyone know of any cheap juniors that have been hammered as a result and are likely to bounce once the oil price emerges from the lows?

Only interested in genuine players.”

Perhaps the post of 15/12 should be heeded as a warning to readers to beware of others ‘opinions’ and DYOR.
