that's not what the article was saying, its saying what distance a EV would have to travel to become carbon neutral,
What cars last that long, but it's more about how much CO2 it takes to produce.
So in a persons lifetime of owning a EV it will never become carbon neutral, don't worry about ICE vehicles as that is not what the article is about.
