A senior guy from GM said that if you asked him to make
a hybrid car without using REE-no problem. It would be
bigger,heavier,less efficient,more expensive,more prone
to failure, noisier and generally not just as good.Maybe
no one would want it. But doing it was no problem.

Agribusiness 13 April/14 [abb]
Mining billionaire Andrew Forrest has proposed a 100 year
Agricultural partnership between China and Australia to
Chinese PM Li Keqiang that he says would 'lift' Australian
farm sector off its knees and allay China's food supply
problems.
Mr Forrest who was in China for the Boao Forum/Australia
Week, met Mr Li in Beijing to propose the deal, which would
involve China committing to paying 10/15% more for Aussie
agriculture.
"The problem with food in China-is there is not enough of
it at any cost"..said Mr Forrest.
"That premium of 10/15% will be easily overtaken by supply
chain efficiencies and the Chinese consumer will have a
source of food they can rely on for the next 100 years
and lower the net cost of food. And the Aust/Ag industry
will experience a return to prosperity."
[One hundred years terminology seems to have special
significance of late :)
Mr Forrest founder and chairman of Australia's third
largest iron ore miner said that the Chinese Premier had
been 'taken by' the concept, which he describes as a 100
year Sino Australia Agricultural Partnership.
"The early discussions we've had with Chinese importers,
who recognize there's a protein deficiency in the country,
say they are around 100,000 head of cattle-short."
'We have never we seen in the history of Aust/AG,orders
this big. This is what could change the Aust/AG industry.
This is what could change the Australian economy.'
Mr Forrest who founded the China Australia Senior Business
Leaders Forum, said it is imperative for Australia to get
the right policy and relationship setting with China to
enjoy the benefits of China's economic strength.

A short distance from our property the Chinese have bought
all but one of the Macadamia farms on the tail end of the
red soil belt. They inspect initially by helicopter. Won't
be long before they drop leaflets :)

How does all this resonate with Northern Minerals?...
It is not beyond the realm of possibilities that Northern
could do a listing in Hong Kong for further funding. In
doing so it would achieve unimaginable results-especially
when reflecting on "Jacks" simple, unmistakable words...
'China's HRE clays are a strategic and critical resource
for Chinese economic and military security and are to be
conserved. And further comment being endless 'blather.'
