They will probably introduce the Electronic Transaction tax, But will not abolish any of the other taxes. I had read a few years earlier, that id GST was increased to 15%, then all other taxes could be abolished.
People pay for their incompetence, from the smaller to the highest $ govt projects are already costed and approved for amounts multiple times than they should be.
And after that, they multiply again $$$$, by the time they are completed.
They spend $5 for every $1, then raise taxes to cover their incompetence.
There is no punishment for screwing up every time.
Also, where is all the money we give out to other nations going to come from. While Aussies are suffering.
Their decisions are based on what will win them the next election in 4 years time, not what people actually need.
You want to bet, all these projects that they say, will cost a Billion, are going to end up costing multiple times more.
