The other issue although relatively minor but growing in importance by the day is Pollution....Countries such as china and to a lesser degress india are being legislated by their governments to use higher quality ore rather than use the low grade local stuff....This is due to the fact that the higher quality stuff has lower impurities and causes less pollution when processed....Pollution is a significant issue in China.
