    First attempt at using e tax seems OK untill the deduction section was reached.
    Seems that one has to be employed or self employed to qualify for "work related expenses" and also have an occupation that is in their list.
    This may be OK for many but in the case of retired or not employed persons who earn an income from investments one cannot complete the page for the "work related expenses" .

    On another matter the ATO has now created the online tax system following their provion for Mac o/s so now Windows and Mac are covered but no cover for Android and since around 60% of internet connections occur via Android methinks the ATO is missing an important sector.
