Time will tell, but it is quite possibly a great deal for MinRes because this upfront cost is a fraction of the cost it would to rebuild what's there and obtain equivalent water usage rights. Realistically it means a much smaller size threshold exists for deposits in this area to be commercial. This means a lot more interest in tenements in the area that have high Lithium prospectivity. That includes E25. Question, is E25 receiving approaches to JV or buy the tenement and if so for how much?
Re the Poseidon plant, there was a deal before my time investing in Lithium where a different variant of the same idea was considered. Kidman was the owner of Mt Holland (aka Earl Grey) before it was sold to SQM/Wesfarmers and was looking at using a converted version of this plant for a few years before having completed work on its on-site plant.
