A pity that Siana is in the Philippines, they seem to be waging some kind of vendetta against Australia, and Australian companies, and sporting teams, and aid workers, at the moment.

Huge fight at the Basketball last night between Australia and the Philippines in Manila, with the coach saying he was concerned for player safety getting out of the stadium. The Philippines were only left with 1 player on the court, and with 3 players on the bench. The game was abandoned because of the on court riot. The Philippines coach said it was Australia's fault and that one of the Australian players was targeting the Philippines players even before the game began, which is nonsense.

Australian aid workers have been kicked out of the Philippines over the past year, though one has successfully appealed. These Australians are not wanted their now.

My impression is also that Australian miners are being targeted in the Philippines.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, but have read that the new socialist Philippines government has been buddying up to China. I'm wondering if there is some sort of international political game going on here, with China exerting it's new influence on the Philippines government, and at the same time sending messages to Australia, in a tit-for-tat response to our actions over Huiwei and China's expanding influence in the Pacific, in places like Vanuatu and the Solomon's, and other small island nations.

I don't think the situation in the Philippines is going to get any better for Australia, for a long, if ever, especially now they appear to be aligning themselves with expanding Chinese hegemony.

China appears to be on the march south and east, and if the aggression continues from the south china sea to the pacific island nations, then this is all going to eventually blow up and end very badly (for the world).
