There is a well known speaker on the Investment Circuit that groups all investors into about a number of categories. it is very entertaining and well thought out. I would like to add another. It called The Each-Way Punters Club.
The main criteria for Membership is not to back yourself. That way you can have the best of both worlds and no matter which way the dice rolls you will be 'right'.
Down ramp a stock but hold on to it just in case you are wrong, but then you are 'right' financially. On the other hand if the stock happens to go down you dip out financially but your opinion was 'right'.
Ignore all other facts and reasoning and there you have it..... The Each-Way Punters Club.
