I started this thread so you wouldn't miss the message.

I know there have been mixed messages about this funded or free business.

Here are the facts -

We were commissioned by the Bris and Ips. councils (unsure if other as well) to fly the floods as an on request - ie. a paying job.

Things have been manic at Nearmap - all is good. They are still flat strap with no indication that things might ever slow down from here, so I didn't want to spend much time.
Site traffic is still strong, but of course has come back a bit from the peak when we were in the newspapers and on telly every day.
There are a hell of a lot of eyes on us at present.

Remember we used to joke about Nearmap etc. flying under the radar - well, I think that has decidedly changed.
I will still stick with my view that we will see clear solid revenue in the first quarter of the new fy - if we don't then something is amiss.
Of course we will have licence renewals from last year as well. It all sounds good to me - it will be good to get a business outlook update when we can though - particularly to see how we are going toward breakeven.
I have had no discussions on these things at present as the boys are very busy as I said.

At present I find it hard to value what ipr is worth - it was potters wasn't it who valued it around 30c about a year back - well, if they were right - what would they say now post the flood??
