AKK Niobara acquisition is excellent, they pulled off this acerage in the Denver Joulesberg basin for just over $500 an acre.
Keep this in mind Marathon had only recently sold 1/3 of their Niobara shale area for $5,000 an acre.
This and Eagleford, someone is either paying too much, but cant fault AKK on the money paid for these great areas.
