1. The founders of NEA left due to a difference of opinion over how to commercialise the product prepaywall iirc. It had nothing to do with the technology. The patent challenge wasn’t thrown out from memory, NEA withdrew there initial inquiry.
2. Can’t say I know how EV think but I’m sure the cost of acquiring NEA would be a lot more than taking out SFI and NEA clearly weren’t intrrrsted in partnering with EV.
3. Price I’m assuming.
4. Where are you getting your 50% figure from? I doubt that’s a direct comparison to nea’s capture costs.
5. SFI talks a big game but so far we haven’t seen direct side by side comparisons of NEA pics v SFI pics and SFI certainly don’t have a 3d offering yet.
