We used to lease for 1/6th but in the past 5 years it has been going mostly to 3/16. I don't know how it all works out but the mineral owner usually gets about 18%. The Gary well is on 640 spacing, that means that there are 640 mineral acres sharing that 18%. I have 38 acres,and will get about 8000.00 a month - less as production falls. I also have interest in the Earl and Evertt wells. A widow lady had 240 acres under the Rodney well and sold them for 12,500.00 an acre before they fracked! Glad to be of help - ELL
