Just out of interest, another point, thou taken from the "other" tech's page.

To have one Chinese company in the mix would be a carrot for the Chinese government to invest heavily in the lignite exploration in Vic, exactly what our government would like to see as the mining boom is losing steam.

Afford one applicant from the country which represents your major client a grant in order to get them on your side.
There is also already a hint towards Geelong transport lines which would favour LV as a whole.

This is political and our chairman was hinting towards political motivations in the distributions of the grants.

Lignite was always going to be in the mix, from my perspective, so Tom's assessment, obviously having spoken to numerous industry representatives, does have credibility.

He is known to have an early feel for what is around the corner.

The India update recently on ECTs website does make sense in this context as it allows focus of shareholders towards another route to commercialisation.

If ALDP news turn out to be negative ( keep in mind that the Chinese company proposes a 3 mt/a rather than our much smaller demo plant, it would only be a blip on the short term radar as Indian news might be forthcoming within the next 2 months
