Agree entirely. I hadn't tried this step out, but just did. And amazingly, you are quite right. The signal dropped out. And then I remembered, over the years I have had 3 different Bluetooth headsets for my mobile phones, and for each one of them, if I placed my hand to completely cover the headset and my ear, the signal dropped out. Coincidence? I think not. It may have something to do with obscuring the built-in antenna so that the signal from the source can't get through to the receiver.
