At least it's not solely a problem with IQbuds if it is an issue. I also remember in the panel that NUH did at CES, the guy speaking said sometimes the antenna is on a different side? Could try flipping the phone around or upside down when it's in your pocket.

I'm pretty confident though because my bike headset is Bluetooth and is solid all the time. Only encountered like 1 or 2 deadspots in the city where there's a lot of interference over the years.
