You need a strong stomach for CVN these days.
at these prices, a buyback isn’t such a bad idea in the short time. But if the cash is needed for FID, then there is no point.
It would be interesting to understand the debt plans for CVN and how much fee cash remains.
Given the market is driving fossil fuels to private equity, it makes sense for companies with income to commence buying back. Problem for CVN SP is no short term diversification plan or income.
