FMG have advised in their quarterly today that they shipped 1.2MT for "third parties" in the Sept quarter. They also indicated they had received an average realised cost & freight (CFR) price of US$121 / dry metric tonne (dmt), up from US$113 compared to the previous quarter.
If you assume this is BCI shipping 1.2MT then:
1.2M x $121 / t = $145.2M
Costs all in @ $70 / t (approx?) x 1.2MT = $84M
$145.2 - $84 = $61.2M EBITDA or $0.49 cps
The $A assisted during this quarter (av 92c) compared to the June quarter (av 99c) so that is an additional kicker.
