Can someone provide the link about a child in a Childcare centre being diagnosed with Coronavirus? I am unable to find those news reports.
A staff member in a Queensland centre, operated by Sparrow has been diagnosed. An 8 month old baby who travelled with their mother from overseas on Sunday last week, has been diagnosed. Both mother and baby have been hospitalised, but to date, to the best of my knowledge, no children in childcare in Austalia have been diagnosed. If the poster could supply the link please, that would clear things up.
If centre's have to close, it will IMO be done in clusters of centre's in identified hotspots.
Tomorrow the DoE will will talk to providers and staff about what the future holds for early learning centres.
Really interested to see the list of top 20 shareholders at the end of March. There will be a few familiar names on there.
