Huaraki district council have just approved the NTL traffic management plan, which was the last impediment in the way of bringing out the bulk sampling. The trucks will follow very shortly with all that very high quality gold we all know is there ...... looking very good IMO    An email sent by the very informative folks  below , most of it is rubbish but i have included the good stuff  ...A big thanx to them for keeping us in the loop !!!!!!!!!

Last week we were notified by the Mayor, John Tregidga, that the Hauraki District Council has approved the traffic management plan put forward by New Talisman Gold Mines. This also means that the last impediment to New Talisman starting its bulk sampling programme has been removed. Their resource consent has been triggered and soon the mountain will be trembling under the daily blasting permitted by the resource consent and mining permits. Be very aware when you head up the mountain that large trucks are also about, up to 20 times a day, either coming or going there will be more risk to the public accessing the conservation estate to enjoy its beauty and solitude.
